The cycle route starts at a large parking lot on the Mičinská Road at the pond named Podryba. At the banks of the Hron River we cross garden colony to the industrial part of Srnková Street. From there we continue along the asphalt forest road (blue cycling trail No. 2557) to Hronská Street in Šalková, part of the town of Banská Bystrica.
We will pass the whole Šalková, part of the town of Banská Bystrica, at the main crossroads in front of the bridge we turn right to the Poniky village and after 200 meters at the cemetery we turn left, as it is shown on the cyclo-signpost. We continue along the forest asphalt road (blue cycling trail No. 2557, green tourist trail) 7.5 km to the iron bridge over the Hron River, which will take us to the village of Slovenská Ľupča. Straight through the railway we continue towards the square of the village where we turn left.
The blue cycle route continues through the centre of the village along the 2nd class road approx. 3 km to the industrial area, where at the road bridge over the stream a cyclo-signpost is located. There we turn right into the forest and by gentle ascent along a forest asphalt path 4 km long, we reach the village of Priechod.
In the Priechod village we turn left and along the 2nd class road passing the stinking cooperative farm we continue through the villages of Selce and Senica back to the Banská Bystrica.
