The project Marimba Tour was created in 2019 as a result of several year of cooperation of percussion players Matej Smutný and Petr Solárik. Even they are known mainly from the field of jazz and popular music, Both studied at Faculty of Music Arts AU BB.
The repertoire consists of compositions by contemporary composers such as Gene Koshinski, Ivan Trevino, Nebojša Jovan Živkovič and others who are also recognizer performers.
The dramaturgy of the concert in Banska Bystrica will be enriched by compositions created in cooperation with students of the Academy of Arts and the conservatory of Jan Levoslav Bella in Banska Bystrica.
