is a part of Tourist Information Centre and the “E-Bike-Region Central Slovakia”.

Electric bikes will make your trips to attractions easier, hire an electric bike at our rental office and enjoy the riding, use free chargers and self-service places for small repairs on your bike.

ELECTRIC BIKE HIRE CONDITIONS

Electric bikes must be booked in advance – 24 hours before the required hire date. The booking form for weekend trips must be delivered no later than Friday 12 pm.
The electric bike can be booked by phone at: +421 48 4330 626, +421 917 505 968, by E-mail: tic@banskabystrica.sk, or in person at Tourist Information Centre (at least 1 day in advance).
Electric bike can be hired daily from Monday to Sunday during the whole summer season and for a hire period up to 8 hours (between 8.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.).

The price for electric bike hire is 40 €/1 day (a maximum of 8 hours).

A refundable security deposit of € 100 paid in cash is required for bike hire.

The bike can only be hired by an adult or by a person over 15 years of age accompanied by an adult. The minimum rider height is 155 cm and maximum rider weight is 115 kg (including luggage).

For E-bike hire two photographic identity documents have to be shown to provide proof of identity (National Identity Card or Driving License, Passport, Student ID card or other photographic ID).

OUR ELECTRIC BIKES

We have 5 mountain bikes from the German GHOST company. The 250 W BOSCH motor with a 500 W battery will make your trip more comfortable. The 29 inch wheels with suspension fork provide comfort and easy riding.
The motor assist the e-bike to reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h. After reaching maximum speed the motor assistance will automatically cut off. The range of an electric bike varies from 20 to 200 km (in average from 50 to 100 km) depending on the terrain, weight of the rider and assistance level selected.

M – 2 pcs (rider height 165 cm – 180 cm)
L – 1 pc (rider height 175 cm – 190 cm)
XL – 1 pc (rider height 185 cm – 200 cm)
