We start our ride at a large car park on Uhlisko, part of the town of Banská Bystrica, next to the abandoned arm of Hron River, at the pond named Podryba. Along the red cycling route leading by the banks of the Hron River we cross the garden colony to the industrial part of Srnková Street. From there we continue along the asphalt forest path to Hronská Street to Šalková, part of the town of Banská Bystrica.
At the intersection outside the Šalková we turn right towards the village of Môlča. Along the 2nd class road we gradually ascend by the Roma settlement to Môlča village, where in the centre of the village we turn right to Horná Mičiná village. There we cross the main road and ride through the centre of the village along the asphalt road towards the football field as for the municipal sawmill – we follow the yellow tourist trail.
At that point we join a paved forest path marked as a yellow tourist trail. Through the Mičinské lúky point (section of yellow and the blue tourist trail), under the Kozlinec Hill, we continue along the yellow tourist trail and through the Peťovská dolina (valley of the Peťovský creek) and we descend to the Vlkanová village. We cross the railroad crossing behind which we turn right and continue along the “Family Path” – cycle route no. 2565 via Iliaš, part of the Banská Bystrica back to the centre of Banská Bystrica.
